Star Wars...the news
Hotel Room Pay Per View Revenge
Keith Avants found Revenge of the Sith on his hotel room on demand pay per view selection this past weekend in San Antonio.
Reformatted for the screen, not widescreen, but he said he enjoyed it never the less. EDITOR’S NOTE: MAYBE THE GROUP OF US THAT WANTED TO TRY TO SEE IT ONE MORE TIME IN THE THEATERS A FEW WEEKS AGO….AND WERE STYMIED BY NONE OF THE HOUSTON THEATERS STILL SHOWING IT….SHOULD ALL CHECK INTO A HOTEL TOGETHER! (WAIT…..WHO WAS ON THAT LIST, AGAIN????)
Revenge On DVD Only
From Videobusiness.com:
20th Century Fox and LucasFilm will release Star Wars: Episode III—Revenge of the Sith, expected to be one of the season’s top sellers, on DVD only. Star Wars will be the first major new release to skip VHS, some say a move that is unsurprising because of its heavy DVD audience.
Distribution sources said recent Star Wars releases have seen heavy VHS returns from retailers unable to sell off the tapes. LucasFilm and Fox declined to comment other than to confirm that there would be no VHS version EDITOR’S NOTE: THE END OF AN ERA. ALWAYS THE LEADER, OUR UNCLE G.
Dressing A Galaxy: The Costumes Of Star Wars
EDITOR’S NOTE: AND CHECK OUT THESE GROOVY POSTERS FOR THE EXHIBIT! (EVEN IF I CAN’T GET TO LA THIS FALL, MAYBE I CAN TALK A CALIFORNIAN INTO PICKING ME UP A POSTER! HINT HINT……)

Over 80 costumes and 100 objects from all six films in the Star Wars saga will form the content of the exhibition.
The exhibit is a pre-cursor to the upcoming book titled the same as the exhibit "Dressing a Galaxy : The Costumes of Star Wars". All of the Star Wars book jackets are full spread, and without all the lettering.
Many of the posters that Steve produced for Lucasfilm licensing for Episodes I, II and III are also on display.
