Harry Potter and the Banned Books

EDITOR'S NOTE: AND NOW, AN ATTEMPT TO RETURN TO NORMALCY (WHATEVER THAT IS).

SOME NEW HARRY P PICS, BUT FIRST AN ITEM REGARDING 'BANNED BOOK WEEK' (SINCE OUR LITTLE HARRY AND FRIENDS ARE OFTEN TOPS ON THE LIST).

Banned Books Week
Today marks the beginning of Banned Books Week, sponsored by the ALA (American Library Association).

The ALA receives hundreds of requests yearly for books to be removed from libraries across the country - the Harry Potter series included.

However, they remind Americans "not to take for granted their precious freedom to read."

They also believe that a library should offer the widest possible range of books and that censorship isn't right.

Most of us agree that reading the Harry Potter books has changed our lives in ways we wouldn't have imagined. However, some people cannot experience this if their local library has banned the books.

So, if you would like to support this cause, which will help prevent libraries from banning HPEDITOR'S NOTE: AND MANY OTHER BOOKS, please GO here:
